When it comes to Wedding photography it’s always been my drive and passion to create unique images that capture the essence of a couple: their love, laughter, joy, and style. My desire is to produce authentic, emotive imagery that encapsulate those relationships between the couple and their loved ones.
Storytelling is extremely important to me because emotional moments are rare and happen in an instant, and capturing them with good lighting and composition requires planning, execution and being in the moment. For me it more then just being a photographer, it’s about being an artist, creating unique and expressive imagery that can being enjoyed and appreciated for a lifetime. Beauty is in everyone, in everything, and everywhere, because we were made by a beautiful Creator, and seeing the day through that kind of “lens” adds to capturing those unique and beautiful moments.
On the Wedding day I am discreet and hidden when I need to be, yet am directive when necessary, like when gathering family members for a group shot. Sometimes that can be like herding cats together, but I like to think that my experience and personality adds a level of calm to the wedding day. My calm, fun, and easygoing demeanor works well in those moments. I believe my ability to genuinely connect and to get couples to relax in front of the camera allows me to capture real moments and candid images.
